swim

i swim alot! during high school swim season if i am not at school then i am at swim practice! i love it so much! it is for sure hard and i work my butt (or pockets which ever you prefer) off. i am lucky that i have family come and support me when i go out and have meets. friends sometimes come too! i have met so many new people and made other relationships stronger. many memories were created and smiles were beaming even tho it was 5 am. everyone on high school swim team would practice from 5 am to 6.45 am every morning before school. monday thru friday! then if on varsity (which i was) we had practice also on tues and thursday from 4pm to 6pm after school. we would also have dry land (conditioning) on wednesday and saturday for an hour. those were not manditory but the rest was! we had meets close to every weekend after the season got going. the season is very long, tryouts are at the end of september and state is in the beginning of february! if you cant tell yet...i absolutely love swimming. it is my life! i "l.o.v.e this"

summer swim

This summer i was on the Southern Utah Swim Association club team. also known as SUSA! i have swam on that club team for many years. i think i am coming up on my 6Th year! i enjoy it very much and have a wonderful coach that is very good at what she does. this summer was fun like all the others. it went by so fast. we would practice every morning Monday thru Friday from 7-9 a.m. it was very hard to get out of bed but i did it. i only missed like 5 practices all together! i went to some swim meets out of town and they were so much fun despite the weather issues we had while there. there was a thunder storm. we had to go inside and delay the meet for about an hour to an hour and a half. we were tired and wanted to go home. i had been there all day and it was around 10 p.m. when we finally got to go! good memories tho! :) i have many swim friends so it makes it that much better. gotta love it!
