practice time!

wow! ha 5a.m. practices started today. I am going to die....it will take awhile to get used to early morning, my alarm clock goes off at 4.22 so i can get ready by the time to go ahhhh! but... i know i can do it. whoo!!! :)

SWIM

SWIM HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED! first day of tryouts were yesterday ha not even hard at all. there isn't as many people as there was last year ha that's okay with me! ;) on Monday the 28Th practices start to be held at 5 a.m. ha wow yeah that's early but I'm excited ha i have to wake up at like 4:20 in order to get ready, eat, and get to practice before they start stretching ha its insane! around 2 weeks after the season starts varsity practices start. i will be on varsity again. and then we practice after school as well as in the morning! i am very excited for the season to begin. i miss all of the old seniors but this year i am the senior and get to take charge ha YAYAY :) ha maybe...i could be captain if the other one that i am not so impressed with gets kicked off because they aren't doing what they are suppose too...ill let ya know!

FUNNY

K so i encountered a funny story and thought you would like to hear it! i got a kick out of it and so did my dad! There is this guy in my college math class and we always park next to each other. (well he parks next to me) ha class was over so we were all leaving and that day i had been wearing a cute yellow shirt that is a little lower in the back so my tan lines show, and they are definite. you cant miss em! the guy was behind me and asked if i had gone swimming the day before. i replied saying "no, why?" ha he mentioned my tan lines! o ha duhh! i told him that i was a swimmer and so I'm always in a suit and get major tan lines ha he asked me "COOL. SO DO YOU SWIM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE??" k really? those fluorescent lights inside give a tan. they are just so full of ultraviolet rays that shine down on me! ha but...me being the slow child i am just told him i swim outside during the summer and inside during the winter! i then realized what he asked after i was in my truck and leaving the parking lot. i got home and told my dad and he got laughing. it was a great day! ;)

High School Swim

So high school swim is finally on its way! I cant wait :) tryouts are September 21-24 after school. Im excited to see how many people come out and try and who will all make it. its sad to see people not make the cuts! I have a friend who used to swim and doesnt anymore but wants to try out. it will be very good for her and id love to be with her swimming but its just funny. she is freaking out afraid she wont make it. The thing i like about swimming is that your not cut by time. its how dedicated you are! so some fast people could be cut if they dont really care and dont put out the effort. I think that is good because it gives others a chance to swim and really show what they are made of and drop some time. this year will be a blast even tho i am not a captain! that is a touchy subject.... anyway ha ill let you know how it all goes once it gets started :)
